Golang Job: Backend Software Developer

In this role you will join a highly agile development team changing the way our organisation delivers infrastructure and applications. As a DevOps team, we are responsible for creating Infrastructure as Code solutions to empower developers greater ease and control in the way they provision servers as well as self-service tools, metrics and intelligent solutions that enable better experiences in real-time.

We are excited to welcome a new member to our team with the primary duties of:

• developing with one-or-more of the following languages – Java, Python, C++, Golang, etc.

• building CI/CD pipeline automation in Bamboo

• design, implement, and deploy new solutions including microservices, self-service tools, database monitoring, NLP/AI solutions, etc.

• develop and test integrations with different platform services to fully automate the infrastructure lifecycle

• collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high value solutions

• participate in operational and support activities to ensure availability and scalability of our services

• be driven to initiate, innovate and drive creative projects

• ability and passion to learn, and resolve problems in technical solutions

• great teamwork and collaboration

In this role you will have the opportunity to skill-up in additional areas as we expand our scope with the following languages / technologies:

• AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EBS, IAM users/roles, etc.)

• AWX Ansible

• Docker

• Machine Learning
